Public consultations are an essential process that allows the public and stakeholders to voice their opinions and contribute to decision-making on various issues. They are used to gather feedback on proposed projects, policies, or changes, ensuring that the views of the public are considered. By engaging the public, consultations foster transparency, build trust, and enhance the effectiveness of governance.

2027/28 Fee Review Consultation

The Conservators of the River Cam will begin a public consultation on proposed fee changes on 21 September 2026. The consultation will run for six weeks.

This consultation gives members of the public, river users, and stakeholders the opportunity to have their say on the proposed fees for 2027/28.

You can take part by providing written responses to the consultation questions, which can be found in the consultation document.

We welcome all views and encourage anyone with an interest in the River Cam to participate in the consultation.
